My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I am upgrading from an old 0.9 to the 2.4.1 and I would like to know if it works better the default "Italian Locale" already in 2.4.1 or I have a better results installing the v1.8.x Italian (it-IT) by _TeRmInEt_ - 2006-08-31 for versions 1.8.x
