importing xml file / sending trackbacks

i've blogger and wordpress posts saved as xml files .
can i import these ?

also i can't find any option in my new-post page to send trackbacks to other blogs

how can i get that

p.s searching did nothing , it was all about problem while sending trackbacks and nothing about how to send it

ok , i got the trackback thingy , i found that it was disabled in the blog setting .

yet still the importing issue

the importer also gives me lots of error with wp 2.5.1.
