My b2evolution Version: 2.4.2

Hi

I have used this code to embed a movie in a blog post and on other webpages.

<div class="movie">
<object width="360" height="290" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="/media/flvplayer.swf?file=/media/videos/jeans.flv image=/media/videos/jeans.jpg&amp;bufferlength=5">

<param name="movie" value="/media/flvplayer.swf?file=/media/videos/jeans.flv&amp;image=/media/videos/jeans.jpg bufferlength=5" />

</object>
</div>

It works fine in Firefox, IE6 but not IE7 .

Has anyone any ideas please to solve this for the few that might be using IE ;)

Thanks
Gary

Hi Gary,

This is typically an IE bug, so you're better of in an IE support forum. Contact the supplier of your software and ask for assistance from a company that's called Microsoft.

Good luck

Cheers for that :)
Now my heads mixed up, I was looking at the video clip using IE7 at work. Now that I am home and view in my IE7 it looks fine ???

The only difference is that the new works pc came with SP3 on it. I bet you a pound to a penny that is what's screwing it up!

Man ya gotta love Microsoft ;)

They probably fixed a security issue. Weren't you aware that watching movies is a great risk for your sanity?
