My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hi Everyone,

We have installed the latest b2e (2.4.2 stable). We have set all permissions as per the installation instruction.

Specifically media is 777, media-blogs is 777, media-blogs-user is 777. Media-user is 777.

Our bloggers (rank 1) are not able to access the upload page. File tab-upload gives a error 500 page.(The admin is able access the uploadpage and can upload the files too.)

Most likely causes:
The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.

If we upgrade the bloggers to privileged users, they can access the file upload feature, but, they can also access the "global Settings" and other features which we do not want them to do.

Can someone guide us?
