PLEASE search. This has been covered many times in the forums, and I'm very certain it is covered in the docs.

Basically: backup your files and database, copy the 7 important lines from conf/_basic_config.php to your new set of files, delete everything from your server, upload the new stuff, run the installer at yourdomain.com/path_maybe/install/, and select 'upgrade'.
