Hey all together,
I have a silly question but I cannot find anything about it.
I'd like to know what it is about the TYPE you can choose writing a blog.
What exactly is the difference between
post
link
page
podcast

For podcast I can image you read that http://manual.b2evolution.net/Podcasting
and do "Just upload the mp3 file to your server, enter the URL of an mp3 file into 'Link to url:' and select 'Type: Podcast'"
post is a standard post like you have in every blog.
What exactly is link and page and when would you use it?

You should use the link type for entries in you linkblog.
A page is exactly like a post, except that it doesn't appear in the list of posts, neither in the rss feed. You could use a widget to list the pages that you have created. You could use a page to write a 'About Me', or a 'Privacy Statement'.
