My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I just recently installed b2evolution on my website and I have been having a few problems with it. My first problem that I encountered was that I would get a 404 Not Found, "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request " error whenever I clicked on a single post to view it alone. Later I solved this by making the URL for the blog "Use param: post ID".

After changing this it seems that then my calendar was not functional. And the only way I solved that was to change my URL for date archive urls to "Use param"

Now my blog works but all of my links are horribly ugly. I am asking if there is a way to somehow repair the blog, as currently the links make me want to go back to using wordpress.
