My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I'm wanting to order posts in a blog in a way that is arbitrary: that is, not dependent on date (of creation, issue, or modification) or on title or url. And I want it flexible: I want to be able to change (re-assign) the order. (Why? To intersperse short posts/teasers on "perennial" topics with ones that are more seasonal.)

When I found, in admin>blog settings>general, "order by" and "priority" among the list, I thought I'd found my answer. The demo posts, and one I created, all have "priority 3" assigned. BUT I can't find a place to assign OR change the priority. Yes, I'm probably looking right through it....

(Searching the forums, all I see is plug-in priority issues and some google issue, not this.)
