My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I upgraded my blog to version 2.4.5 today with Fantastico, and for some unknown reason it crashed all my links.
I then manual updated it to 2.4.6 to see if it would fix it, but it didn't and my god is it annoying.

Basically, if I clicked on "Directory" or "photography" or anything like that, the status bar will show that "http://admin.php/?blog=1&ctrl=files&root=collection_1&path=photography/" but it won't go anywhere because it's not connecting to "piebald.xloosends.com". I have to copy and paste if I want to access and that's not how it works.

^if that doesn't make sense, then I basically just need to know why it's reading as "http://admin.php/?blog=1&ctrl=files&root=collection_1&path=photography/" and not "http://piebald.xloosends.comh/admin.php/?blog=1&ctrl=files&root=collection_1&path=photography/" and how to fix it >.<

Check your $baseurl in your /conf/ folder, though I suspect is is correct.

Assuming it is correct, get a brand new copy of the 246 zip file, unzip it on your computer, delete ALL the files in the /inc/ folder on your server, then upload the /inc/ folder you just unzipped.

The goal here is to replace what might be a corrupted file on your server, so starting with a fresh download is the way to go.

Please report back as I can't see (in the files) any reason why 246 won't work. I'm using 245 and know it works ... but haven't upgraded to 246 yet.

Oh and also in your /conf/_basic_config.php file do be careful to note that your $baseurl needs to have only one trailing slash. I doubt you have this problem, but sometimes Fantastico was doing double trailing slashes.

hmmm....

ah whatever. Check out that file, and replace your new /inc/ folder then let's see where we're at.

I've been having the same problem since I upgraded to 2.4.5 and didn't know it until a visitor pointed out that links from my table of contents weren't working. The above advice regarding trailing slashes fixed the problem!

Thanks so much :D
