My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody knew of any code that would enable a message to be sent back to the actual sender?

This would preferably be a seperate message with some standard text e.g.

Dear [RECIPIENT NAME],

Thank you for submitting your message to us.

[MESSAGE TEXT HERE].

We will endeavour to reply asap.

Regards.

etc. etc.

As always, any pointers would be much appreciated!

Check out http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?t=17695 for a head start. Now that you know how to add a recipient, it shouldn't be too hard to make the sender be the recipient AND make the $subject be what you want AND make the $message be what you want.

I think. I've never done the thing you're after. Neat idea by the way - an automatic "we'll be back to ya" message send to the sender.
