My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Here's the deal... I had tried (unsuccessfully) to use clean URL's in the past, before I knew there was an .htaccess hack. I'm looking to make the jump to clean URL's, but I've got a certain amount of search engine placement and links from other sites that I'd prefer not to lose.

How can I switch to clean URL's and maintain accessibility via the other parameter-based methods? Would it automatically generate a 302 for me or how would this be accomplished?

Many, many thanks in advance,

-Jon

B2evolution has what is called 'canonical' links.

You you change your url schema, the old ones will issue a redirect to the new urls.

I made the .htaccess additions, converted it to /year/month/title URL's and that's working GREAT. The only problem is, now that I did so, my adsense plugin doesn't appear to be functioning.

As an example, please reference:
http://techdojo.org/2009/02/video-games-and-violence and look between the two horizontal rules after the first paragraph. That's where I'd normally have a text-based set of ads, along with a vertical one along the sidebar to the right, just below the "search" box.

Does changing the URL type affect whether it will process the adsense script? Are clean URL's and the adsense plugin mutually exclusive?

UPDATE==========================

Nevermind. It appears the AP I was connected to was behind a web filter, which blocked the ads. >:(
