My b2evolution Version: 2.x

On the Group perms subtab when you click on "make it really wide" over there on the right we have three columns for Media Directory: Upload, Read, Write. Can anyone explain what these bits means? Like, I'm pretty sure upload means you can upload pics and stuff, but what about read and write? Are those for maybe for editing skin files and such?

Just curious is all.
