My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Thanks for the help up front, now onto the issue.

Currently got my little piece of the net working just fine, except for one issue. When you click on the any of the categories you get the following error:

URL: /{whatever it is}/ does not exist.

Searching around the forums, I found out about the sample.htaccess and renamed it to .htaccess . I restarted apache and still having issues with it, checking the code in that file it seems the bottom most is commented out? Is this how it is suppose to work?

I'm basically trying to setup and use the extra path setup, but it doesn't seem to work. I have switched over to the param type and that works, but would like to have it in an extra path if only to make sure the htdocs directory doesn't become a mess.

I'm running the following:

Apache 2.2
latest version of PHP
On a XP box
