My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

My archives link, from the "Common Navigation Links" Widget on b2evo v 2.4.0-rc2 generates a link to the archives of the form:

http://blog.davewrites.com/index.php?disp=arcdir

This generates a list of all posts, but they are parameterized like this:

http://blog.davewrites.com/index.php?p=339&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

I want the url above to render as it does throughout the rest of the site:

http://blog.davewrites.com/index.php/2009/04/23/open-source-economic-development

and ideally, the first url above should be something reasonable like "/archives/"

How can I do this? I think this current configuration is bad for SEO.
