[2.x] where do spam messages go?

My b2evolution Version: 2.x

I got some message notifications in my email box but they don't appear in my comment list.

could it be they are considered spam?

Is there a special spam box where i can recover them?

When someone comments on your blog you have to publish the comments before they will appear. Do you see them if you go to your dashboard in the admin pannel?
