Although the hosting company didi offerred by it daily back up in te system, but I am mor cmofort to back up my own blog -freegies.com - manually. Can I actually back up my blog data & current skin featured setting by FTP way?
To backup your posts you need to go into your database manager ( normally php my admin ) and backup the b2evolution database.
For a full backup you'll also want to use ftp to backup your /con/_basic_config.php ( should only have to grab this the first time ), your /skins/skin_name/ folder ( if you make any changes to it ) and /plugins/your_plugin ( if you've coded your own plugins, or modified any ), and finally /media/ ( if you've uploaded any new images etc )
