to put it under your subdomain xxx.mydomain.com, that's going to depend on your web hosting set up.

b2evo just cares for the folder where you install it and usually a subdomain has a subfolder called after subdomain.

I have My apache and my b2evo installation, of course I am admin. and I am the owner of the domain.
