[3.3.1] category won't delete

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

HI,

another question regarding my new blog. I don't want to have category "background" but it's not letting me delete it. I get the following and don't know what it means or how to fix it:

The following relations prevent deletion:

* 4 posts within category through main cat
* 4 posts within category through extra cat

I don't see anything called "main cat" or "extra cat".

I'm pretty sure what that is saying is that the category "background" is used as a main category in 4 posts and a sub-category in 4 other posts. On your "posts/comments" tab (or whatever it is called in 33whatever) check the box for that category then 'search' and it'll show you all the posts that use that category. Then either edit them to use a different category, or just delete the posts.

The analyses by Edb is correct but when I tried the fix the system would not let me unassociate the Page/Post from all categories. Can someone offer another solution.

The only way to un-associate a page/post from ALL cats is to delete the page/post?
