[3.3.1] Preview opens in the same tab

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

(I've just upgraded from 2.x.)
When I click on the Preview button, Firefox 3.5 asks me if I want to navigate away from the page. If I choose yes, then I get the preview in the same tab, not in a new one as before.

Is there an option to change this behavior?

(Somewhat related: as I'm editing this post, I don't see a preview button, only a Submit. Is that normal?)

EDIT: When I edit a post I do have a preview button. o_O

not sure what this might be. I have firefox 3.5 and preview opens fine. however, I have noticed that one in a while this happens...especially when you edit a post and not create a new one.

but right now create new or edit old open in new tab.
