[3.3.1] Is it okay to disable [object] XHTML check?

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

TinyMCE insert media uses the object tag, and b2evo whines about it.

What are the drawbacks of disabling its check?

Is there a chance that TinyMCE will be "fixed" to do this properly (i.e. XHTML conform or whats-the-name)?
