I don't understand - uploading what files again?
I have never uploaded any files.
I am simply trying to login to my blog to add a post.
The error message comes up before I get into the blog

Can you help?
Sorry for "double-posting" - did not think the first one was clear

How did you install b2evolution? Using your hoster's installer? If this is the case, you perhaps could try to reinstall b2evolution... If that doesn't work, contact your hoster.

You can edit your posts. :)

Somebody else set this up for me and no longer works for us. I have no idea how it was set up but the error message comes from b2evolution and I thought the site was set up via the b2evolution website?
What would I re-load and where?
Hosters are saying it has nothing to do with them
Any ideas? help?

Hi rob_b. Yeah this isn't so hard. You have an old version of b2evo there so you really should think about upgrading to at least v1.10.3 but first let's get what you got working again.
Go to the downloads tab up above and then "previous releases" or something like that and download the zip package for v1.10.2 because that is your version. Unzip it on your computer. Connect to your server using FTP or your host's cpanel "File manager" thing. Either way DELETE from your server the /inc/ folder. Then upload it anew from the one you just unzipped.
Oh wait! FIRST download everything in that folder. IF replacing it makes things go from bad to worse then you will need a backup of any files you wipe out in order to go backwards to it.
SOMETHING ABOUT THIS IS BUGGING ME
You have a domain.com/admin.php path and a report of a file in an /inc/ folder not finding what it wants, but your version is 1.10.2 and I don't recall admin.php and /inc/ way back then.
Download v1.10.2 and unzip it. Compare with your eye and brain the names of folders and files in the unzipped "blogs" folder with what you have on your server. If these seem to match pretty well then go ahead and backup then delete then replace /inc/ and keep your fingers crossed ;)

Really appreciate the email but not being a technical person, I really don't know where to start.
I managed to get back into the login page as the people who host the system had a back up. But from what you're saying I really need to upgrade.
Will give it a go and see what happens.
Thanks again

If that is the case, I strongly suggest you ask someone who is knowledgeable about website CMS installations, especially if your site is critical (for example, a business site, or it is generating a good revenue).
But whatever and whoever will do it, be sure to have a backup of your current version - both database and files. This way, you have something to go back to.
And, slow down and relax - yes, even if it is a critical site like a business revenue-earning website. The room for error gets bigger and wider if we are not relaxed and taking things one step at a time ^_^ Trust me, been there, done that.

Thanks - you're right!
I thought that I may be able to download the new version from the blog but that's not possible it seems. SO I will have to find someone who knows what they're doing...happy days
It seems like there's a file missing. You could try uploading the files again (make a backup!).
