My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I have spent 2 days going through the help sections and manual, trying to understand how to do some basic things to my new blog, but I'm at a loss.

I'm not a programmer and am unfamiliar with php. I'm familiar with essential html, and I've been able to get a blog with a custom skin loaded to my web site. However, I just can't figure out how to change some of the basic links.

I want my "Home" button to link back to my web site rather than my blog home page. I just can't figure out how and where to do that. And I'm afraid to just try replacing defaults because I don't want to screw things up and not know how to get them back.

Any tips on how to change my "home" link (or where on the on the admin utility I can find that?
