Actually, it takes a smidge more than that, you need cookie path/domain set to root level if you want to use multi-subdomains, and you need to piss around with $baseurl if you want multi domains ... and you still have to log in to each domain.
I did knock together a script that allowed single login, but it was far from perfect and probably wasn't that secure ... but it (kinda) worked
Ohh yeah, I run a multi-domain blog ;)

Last year...when I knew WAY less than the LITTLE I know now ;o) I set up multiple blogs (one for each franchise owner). They are all set up under the CreativeTutors.com domain...but each in a different install. I'm in the process of doing a redesign of the skin and thought it would make sense to fix all the annoyances at one time. What I'd like to do is aggregate these twelve blogs...so to recap...
1. Each blog is set up under creativetutors.com
2. Each is a separate b2evo installation
3. I don't want to change the existing URL's (actually I can't change them for a lot of reasons)
4. Can I aggregate all of these blogs...examples of full URL's are
http://www.creativetutors.com/b2evo/blog1.php
http://www.creativetutors.com/southtexas/blog1.php
http://www.creativetutors.com/frisco/blog1.php
Alternatively can I set up a new...aggregated install...using the old urls...and then importing the existing posts
I'm guesing the answer is no to both of these but thought I'd ask before I went any further...
