Most basic question first: are you logging in to the same thing as your $baseurl value in your /conf/_basic_config.php file? Like, let's say in that file you have this:
$baseurl = http://asdfghjkl.zxc
You should be filling in your login bits at http://asdfghjkl.zxc/htsrv/login.php
Doing anything funky with maybe .htaccess for redirecting stuff? Being creative with setting up some sort of 'non standard' installation situation? Got a link to this new installation?

I make it a policy to not respond to unsolicited PMs. Sorry, but I get way too many of them. Out here others who might have the same issue can benefit from an answer, but more importantly posting out here in public is the only way I can stay ahead of ¥åßßå's post count.
The thing is your .htaccess trickery is causing a mismatch between where the login is coming from and where the redirect on the login link points to. Take a look at the link when you mouse over the title, then when you mouse over the 'login' link. Probably the easiest resolution, if you really want that little .htaccess trick, is to put the www bit in your $baseurl value. Or take it out. Whichever it is, do the other ;)
BTW don't worry about the nature of your site in here. If you have adult content simply telling people that is generally cool.
