My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I've set up a welcome page and set it to mian so that it's the first page displayed when I get visits. It's listed in the welcome catergory too. But if you click the welcome link on the side bar it shows ' nothing to disply here'. How do I get my welcome text in the welcome section. I've tried the radio button and it all seams fine
