My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Okay, I've done it before without issues, but this time, after importing MySQL database and editing _basic_config.php, I get an error message when I try to connect to my blog:

MySQL error!

Unknown column 'hit_keyphrase_keyp_ID' in 'field list'(Errno=1054)

Any ideas what to try next? This happened when I upgraded from 2.4x to 3.3x.

The same database works just fine on another domain running b2e 2.4.x

Well I tried re-installing b2e and then re-importing db and conf file, to end up with db schema error:
Database schema is not up to date!

You have schema version «9700», but we would need «9960».
