My b2evolution Version: latest

I have got lost in all the postings about the apparently obsolete sideblog plugin, and have found my way to the simple post list. Where and how can I get this plugin/widget to point to a blog other than the one it is inserted in?

I would post this in the appropriate forum, but I get a message telling me I need special access.
