b2evo v1.10 is very old, I'd recommend you upgrade to v3.3.3 and see if the error stays.
Also check your /conf/_basic_config.php for whitespace

I went over the _basic_config.php and checked the settings. I tried using the suggestions you pointed out and nothing has changed. :(

Open your config file in notepad and save it as "ansi" instead of "utf-8"

Hey guys. Thank you all for your advice. Unfortunately none of these options have solved the problem.

I'm leery about installing/upgrading to a new version because we cannot lose the data already up there.

Suggestions?
