My b2evolution Version: 4.x

I am trying to install and learn b2evo on my local computer.
Using WAMP - which is working. I created a database in mysql called b2evolution which populated with data upon mysite/blogs/install/

b2evo seems to be installed OK, as I can look at default blog pages, but can not access 'admin' as I do not have a USERNAME or PASSWORD.

At no point in the installation can I remember being given or asked for either - apart from the MySql database username and password - which do not log me in to admin.

I tried 'admin' as a USERNAME, with empty password field, but then the message came that php was not configured properly so could it could not send me an email to reset password.

Can anyone help here? b2evo looks great and has the simple and easy to find instructions... but I have missed something..
