Well, I found this:
Bloglet is rejecting RSS feeds with dates in the following format: "Tue, 21 Oct 2003 24:56:21 -0500". Its probably a good idea to change your date to adhere to the XML-RPC spec, found here: http://www.xml-rpc.com/spec.
Then looking at the RSS feed from B2 I found:
<pubDate>Fri, 07 Oct 2005 17:58:21 +0000</pubDate>
So the formatting of the RSS date may be the issue, that is my best guess.
Unfortunately, I don't have a clue how to fix it. :(

I found a solution for you.
It works in a similar fashion to bloglet, except that it actually works, and seems to be being supported. Looking at bloglet, it doesn't seem the owner has paid the site any attention in a long time.

Did you try the rss2 feed or rdf?
I was using rdf until that stopped working with bloglet, then I used my feedburner feed, and that worked until 2 days ago. Nothing about the feeds have changed, so it's bloglet's fault, I presume.
I almost switched over to Feedblitz, but I don't the complexity of their email subscription process. I also don't like that you have to pay to customize more than one feed (I don't like the appearence of the default emails - too much feedblitz header). I wish they had a redirect option to direct new subscribers back to my blog as soon as they hit the subscribe button.
I like RssFwd as an option, but I can't manage any new subscribers.

Rmail is good with the frequency of site feed polls, but I still can't manage subscribers, nor can they choose to receive html emails. I got Bloglet to work again with my feeds by unchecking "hide this blog."

I'm trying to get bloglet to work and I get the date error mentioned:
"String was not recognized as a valid DateTime."
Any solutions out there? If not, is there any comparable solution where I can move over my subscribers so they can get email notifications?

After comparing email subscription solutions, I've found the best way to go is to create a Google Group that is announcement only. Post a subscription box on your b2evo blog and have each new post sent to yourgroupsnamehere@googlegroups.com. The way to do this is with a admin hack that can be found here.
Google Groups will send an email to every subscriber with each new post. You have a lot of control over your subscribers.
My second best option (suggestion) is to go with RssFwd because they check your rss feed hourly for updates. You have no subscriber control with rssfwd, though.
I don't like Feedblitz because they have an annoying orange banner at the top of every email sent to your subscribers (unless you want to pay $4.95/month).
I have the exact same isuue and question. Did you find a resolution? There are too many people that will not/can not manage an RSS feed. A simple email susbscription is needed.
