That one-time feed submission:
I have a choice between RDF, RSS.92, RSS2.0 & Atom ...
Does it matter which one? Is one better than the rest? (Looked thru the FeedBurner online help and it didn't make any suggestions.)

I don't think it matters, because feedburner can read them all.
I think I choose the atom thing (I have no idea why I did that)

Why I use feedburner ?
the automaticaly dynamicaly signature.
All the rest is a plus.
It does not take time (just a one time submit of your own rss into your feedburner account) and its free and easy.
