Need to move blog from domain to subdomain. How?

Okay here is what I am trying to do.

I am now wanting it on blog.carydarling.com

I tried just copying the folder over to the subdomain but it's causing some conflicts with the links.

Is there some way I can change the folder location in the blog software?

If not the only recourse I seem to have is doing a clean install on blog.carydarling.com into a new db and then copying the old db onto the new one.

Am I off base here? LOL.

If I am anyone have suggestions?

With the help of my server tech he showed me the solution and that was editing the base url in the config file.
