So you have a web and you put your blog in a folder? Try something like this: your_domain/path_to_blog/index.php Editing the blog main page is kinda vague. You can skin it and modify the skin, which you would do by editing the appropriate file in your_domain/path_to_blog/skins/skinname. Usually mostly _main.php and whatever the style sheet is called. If you mean it's not the right page at all you can set up your blog to display any specific blog as the main page, and even pick a short list of categories from that blog.
