It would appear that categories sort in alphabetical orderin in the standard _categories.php setup. Is there a way to sort these in order of addtion/creation or in some other way such that you could 'control' the order in which the listing occured.

My actual use case is that I have a circumstance where I'd like to create categories for the Months of the year so that I could post items to say October (it is now April) but an alpha order listing of months would not make sense. I thought about prefixing each month with a number, e.g. 1-January, etc... but was hoping for something more elegant.
