My question is;

How can I change the codes in the login page so that the username may only login with as email address?

Example;

Username: myemail@something.mail
Passwords: userpasschoosen

But still, after doing login and everything, it stay refering to the user as his choosen nick and not email address.

Example;

Welcome: UserNick

Instead of;

Welcome: myemail@something.mail

I need to know this because I pretend to give users a short of free webmail based platform along with the Blogs, so that everything they might need to log thru my site, requests the email I gaved them.
