I've been looking at these to establish what settings would be needed to allow a 'normal user' (Larry - from the sample data) to flag spam. I've been looking at the page on Advance Permissions (http://b2evolution.net/man/advanced-permissions), and although I'm not absolutely certain, it looks as though some of the settings are interactive.

I've got the permissions as in the screenshots, but still 'Larry' can't flag the spam. What am I missing?

Apologies for bumping this one. Can anyone advise please?

@chris_of_arabia your: first screenshot is correct and "Larry" should be able to mark comments as spam, but the skin must support that feature. What skin are you using? Try "Forums" or "Pure Forums".

Ah! Now that I'd not have guessed at. I've just been using it as it comes in the initial configuration with the download and sample data installed. It uses the Bootstrap Forum. I'll flip it over to one of those you suggest and see If 'Larry' has the ability to flag things.

OK. That did it for getting the spam notification buttons up for 'Larry'. The only question I have now is where does it get reported in the back office?

The bootstrap forums skin will show the voting plugins in v 6.6.0.

Searching for spam comments is not implemented yet. The idea of the current implementation was mainly a visual feedback to spammers and also to help moderators make a decisions when the comment is in a grey area.

OK, understood. I'll look forward to seeing 6.6.0 as soon as it's out. Thanks for the update Francois.
