I am considering b2evolution for a blog (or collection) to serve a committee that will be managing a project where the committee members need to be kept up to date, post statuses for each other, etc., so that they all know what?s going on. It's important that the blog be accessible only to the committee, i.e. members must log in, it won't be a public blog/collection. The blog will be integrated into an existing web site. Is a private blog/collection of that kind feasible with b2evolution?

The collection itself won't be private but you can make all contents (all posts) accessible to *members* only.
For non members, you can display a public welcome message saying you need to register/be authorized to see the posts.
