"recursion error" in Docs area of b2evolution

Hi All,

I've been reading the Docs in the b2evolution site, and I notice an error message that pops up:

Warning: json_encode(): recursion detected in /home/b2evonet/www/inc/_core/_misc.funcs.php on line 5328

This does not happen every time, and if I wait a bit, the error goes away and everything's fine.

I'm wondering if there's a problem in _misc.funcs.php that needs to be addressed?

I'm also concerned that the error message reveals details about the web- server setup, by showing the full path to _misc.funcs.php, which could be considered a security risk.

It's on the do to list ;)

When it disappears, it should get replaced by a comment form. Do you get the comment form?

Hi!

Yes, when the error disappears, the comment form shows up. That's working fine.

I started to look into what was causing the error, but I realized I don't have the documentation files in the distribution that I used to install b2evo.

Is the documentation in a separate table?

I'm thinking of a way to fix this error, as well as find a solution to my off-line documentation need....

I think we have a fix for this error already. It's just not on the server yet. You wouldn't believe the size of the todo list and how many higher priorities there are ;)
