Checking the system status page after installing, everything in green or black writing (as it should be) except for

This API doesn't work properly on this server. You should probably update your .htaccess file to the latest version and check the file permissions of this file. Error: ob_end_flush(): failed to delete and flush buffer. No buffer to delete or flush

There was no .htaccess in the .zip download so I simply copied and renamed the sample.htaccess without making any changes.
I was tempted to ignore the warning because a number of issues are reported in searches regarding ob_end_flush(), but then i wondered if it may be a bug and may affect other people? I also remembered that I may have deleted some of the files in collections as I did not want demo data so did not want to go tho the trouble of tweaking permissions on lots of minor, currently irrelevant, directories.

So is it my own fault and can be ignored as that area will be filled with real data soon enough; something to note and act upon; or a bug?
