[2.3.0.RC1] Another strange behaviuor in Files Admin Section

My b2evolution Version: 2.3.0 RC1
Hi
another strange behaviour:
When trying to access the files section, all pictures are black showing "EWR-ACCESS" in the upper right corner and in red letters. For the blog itself pictures show correctly. File permissions are checked and "777". Any suggestions?

Hi John,
Your reply did not help directly since i did not have any kind of error messages. Anyway, it brought me on the right track. For some reasons, PHP safe mode was switched on for my web space. After switching it off, it was working nice, folders (.evocache) was created and filled with thumbnails, thumbnails are shown in the file manager. Switching php-safe-mode back on, everything was still fine...dont ask me why but thanks for your help.
