My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x
When inserting an (external) image by using the IMG button in which the url is inserted in a scriptwindow, the image doesn't show after saving the post.
I use the lightbox2 plugin and when i click the empty imageblock the image neatly does show up in the lightbox.
Is the lightbox plugin the evil genius behind it? and if so, is there a way around it?
I'm using [2.4]

I don't know what a lighbox2 is but I'd suspect that yes it's part of the issue.
The img src is different than what it is linked to, meaning if I click the link I get to see the image, but if I "view source" and look for the image tag I see something that isn't right.
From that post, clicking the area the picture belongs takes me to
yourdomain.nl/images/f5302_ice_5.jpg
If I view source the image tag is
yourdomain.nl/images/thumb_plugin/f5302_ice_5.jpg
So if lightbox2 is making the "thumb_plugin" bit show up then that's part of the problem because that's not where the image is.
