Is it possible for a blog to read from multiple databases?

I basically want one of my blogs to act as a feeder for my other blogs. I noticed there was a feeder already created, but it looked as if grabbed more then just the article's text it was feeding from ( I am probably wrong).

For sake of accuracy, is it possible for a blog to read multiple databases/ and prefixs and create an article from then.
