Hi, I have seen this before when I posted a couple of post one after the other pretty quickly. It is just Ping-O-Matic's safe guard against too many hits from the same host. The only ways to disable it are by going to :

Blog Settings -> Advanced

In there you will see a list of pings that happen every time you post to your blog. Un-tick the ping-o-matic one. If you still want to ping ping-o-matic then you will have to space your posts out a little to one every 5 minutes.

Once upon a time PoM fessed up to a bug that was giving that message all the time. Dunno if it is back or not. Just pointing out another (although probably low probability) possibility.

I'd say go with "don't ping if you don't have 5 minutes delay between posts" is a good answer.
