[3.3.1] How to add custom pages?

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

I'm looking to add to the list of links at the top of the blog in the nav menu. How would this be accomplished?

1) Use the free html widget ( admin > blog settings > [blog] > widgets > add new

2) Make a "page" type post ( admin > blog > write > expert tab > change dropdown for "post type" to "page"

Okay, that's all good, but can someone kindly tell me how to ADD a post to the page I just created? I'm a techie of 20+ years but I've spent enough time trying to figure this out now. Please do assist.
