I'm not sure how but you need to send the category number also with your post. And since each category is assigned to a specific blog, if you can figure out how to send the category information then that will let you post to different blogs using this method.

Ok so each blog has to have different categories? You can not use the same category in other blogs?

I believe it can have the same name but it will have a different number in the database.
