Since installing Dawn in January, I've had broken rss feeds fo posts (comments is OK).
Clicking on the RSS2 link gives me
XML Parsing Error: unclosed CDATA section

whereas the RSS 1 gives

From snooping around on google it seems that error is caused by particular posts in your blog (which seems to be correct since your comments feed works find). One person I read limited the # of posts in their feed and their feed worked, but when they upped the # of posts the error came back. By this method they were able to pinpoint the particular post which was causing the errors.
As to what actually causes that error I didn't look deep enough to find that out.
Edit: Error message: (fatal) unclosed CDATA section; CDATA sections need a terminating ']]>'.
