Is it safe to upgrade directly from 0.9.0.11 to 0.9.2 without first upgrading to 0.9.1? I'm not sure if the install scripts are designed to check for and apply the changes in 0.9.1 before the changes in 0.9.2...

Thanks in advance,
Chris

Absolutely correctly yes it is safe and yes it checks. Things to be aware of though: Save your existing conf/_config.php file as it contains your database connection info (and a few other details). Save your skin if you made modifications. That would be your "skins/yourskin" folder. Save your media folder so you don't lose everything you uploaded.

To upgrade first transfer the 'important bits' from your existing conf/_config.php to the new one, then delete ALL the b2evolution files from your server, then upload the new version (including your new conf/_config.php file with connection info) to your server. Visit yourdomain/yourpath/install/index.php and tell it you are upgrading, then delete the install folder from your server. Upload all the stuff you backed up from your media folder.

Visit your blog and be sure all is well. BTW you might have to add ?skin=custom OR &skin=custom to your url to find your blog. After this upload your own skin, if you had one, and - again - make sure it's all hunky dory.
