Installing in subdomain

Hi,

I installed b2evo v 1.8.2 in a subdomain in my server (Ej. admin.myserver.com). The information entered in the basic configuration file after running the instaler was $baseurl = 'http://www.admin.myserver.com/blogdir/';.

I edited the file and now the program is working, but is this not a bug?

Subdomains are folders, so why would it be a problem? AFAIK you have to set up the subdomain with your host, then (again - AFIAK) it should do it's thing. Maybe someone else has better info here, but if it's a bug it's a bug with the installer you used.

EdB, I think guischarf means, that it added the "www." in front of it.

It seems to take $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] as default and you have to confirm it during installation.

What's your virtual hosts' ServerName? Any chance that it is www.admin.myserver.com?
